A platform helps connect Vietnamese freelancers and employers all over the world.

My role
I played the role of Business Analyst & Product Designer in this project.
My main task is to research similar platforms in the market and design full features for the product. I used Axure RP to create low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes for the whole creation.

We ran the project in sprints (4 days per sprint). I published the designs as an HTML package for stakeholders can review & feedback every 4 days.
For the Product Requirement, I approached in Use Case method to build up the document. Every step of each use case has comprehensively covered all aspects to ensure the feasibility and practicality of each feature.
(I’ve also shared some posts on my blog about the Use Case method, and what I made mistakes while using it 😅)

Product
The product includes 2 main parts: Freelancers & Employers.
As a Freelancer, you can create accounts quickly and build up your profile & portfolio to attract employers; you can also bid on jobs, manage project timelines, get all support from Jobhub to complete projects, and get paid within seconds.
We also provided support features such as Knowledge Center, which gathers FAQs and the most valuable topics for users. In addition, we also created a space for Freelancers to write articles on Jobhub’s community to share their experiences.
For Employers, they can post job requirements as Basic (or Premium to stand out from other jobs). The messaging function is also one of the most focused features. Employers can manage contracts & job requirements in real-time.
Key takeaways
1/ As a Business Analyst & Product Design Freelancer for this project, I’ve validated my ability to work independently and manage the sponsor’s expectations to deliver the product on time & budget.
2/ JobHub is a project with an extremely tight timeline. The Product Requirements documentation was designed in less than 1 month, including UI design with interaction on Axure RP & document specification.
3/ The tight timeline taught me how to carefully define the core & most essential features to create an MVP.
